The 2017/18 Touch Rugby season has just concluded, following a weekend of game play under Kuala Lumpur’s beating sun. This year has been the most successful in East’s Touch history, as a silver place podium finish was mustered by the Dragons girls at last weekend’s SEASAC. Although the tournament began with a rather mediocre performance, the girls went from strength to strength to eventually win their semi-final against Tanglin Trust School in nail biting over time play. Thus, proving the grit and unity of the team who have been playing with one another for the past four years.

A number of individuals on the team are graduating students and so, this season will be definitely be remembered as a special one. Other highlights from the season include a 2nd place finish in the Singapore ACSIS league, 3rd place in the Marlborough Straits Cup and a trip to Brisbane for the All Schools tournament, last October. Way to go ladies!
